Tip 1: To know where to find the resource. Good material is always necessary to your path of mastering guitar. Where to find them? That’s a good question. Actually there are lots of guitar lessons online. Some of them are just lack of quality, but there are still a lot of good ones. You probably have heard you need to pay for those good ones. Tip 2: Understand how chords work. When you are learning chords, you should try to learn how the chords are formed and what notes the chords use. To be able to understand chords will give you advantages in the later stage.

Tip 3: Voicing of Chords. Every chord has its own voicing. Sometimes the chord has different voicing in the same position, because the notes are arranged differently or some strings will be omitted.
