After going through this course, I have to say it has real stuff. Learn and Master Blues Guitar covers the concepts of blues, musical theory, blues guitar chords, techniques, and blues riffs. These are the things you need to master blues guitar.

I have experience of learning blues guitar from various unorganized courses and books. You learn some licks from one course, some riffs from another course and some chord progressions from another one…etc. It’s frustrating, because after all you don’t see the connection among those things at all. With a few months of practicing this exercise, my friends and I were really surprised by my soloing in a jam session. I’m able to play out those cool blues licks in my mind now.

Instructional DVDs

As same as the Learn and Master Guitar course, the instructional DVDs are also the core of this course. There are totally 6 instructional DVDs. Each session is not just an individual session. They are all connected and all lessons are designed and organized step-by-step. Each session has 2 parts, an instructional part with Steve Krenz and a workshop part for you to practice. The DVDs have tabs on screen for you to follow along easily. If you don’t like to read on screen, you can also download the book and print out the tabs. The DVD menu is clear and easy to use.

I always like Jam-Along DVD&CD, with these discs I can jam with the band any time I want at home. The Jam-Along DVD&CD are recorded by a real band in studio, those are not computer music.
